The FOCIR celebrated this March its XIV Assembly in the headquarters of the Catalan Association of the Local Press. Thirty-six entities attended the encounter where they appraised the work made last year'09 and approved of the program that the Council of the FOCIR has devised for 2010. An ambitious program that puts the emphasis in the maintenance and strengthening of the internal net, in the public projection and in the research of new ways and new services for its associates. The plan is articulated on four objectives that wants to consolidate the FOCIR like the voice of the Catalan civil society through the development of formative sessions, periodic publications, visits of studies and spaces of exchange among the actors who work for Catalan international projection.

The new associated NGOs are: Associació Catalana de Comunicació Científica, Associació Catalana de Fut-Tennis and Sepaktakraw, Associació Catalana de la Premsa Comarcal, Federació d’Associacions de Gent Gran de Catalunya, Federació Catalana d’Esquaix i Raquetbol, Federació Catalana de Futbol Sala, Federació Catalana de Korfbal, Gremi d’Indústries de la Confecció de Barcelona, IGMAN- Acció Solidària, Il·lustre Col·legi d’Advocats de Barcelona, Intersindical CSC and Observatori del Deute en la Globalització. So finally FOCIR already have 47 NGOs, a great net stronger and more diverse.
