From 10-16 July, 18 organisations from 14 Euromed countries have come together for the Phase 3 meeting of the project Peace Bag for Euromed Youth – a long-term programme of the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Fundació Catalunya Voluntària.

Official representatives of organisations from Algeria, Bulgaria, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Poland, Palestine, Romania, the Netherlands, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey have met at the Biblioteca Alexandrina in Alexandria to evaluate the Peace Bag toolkit, which is one of the main outputs of the partnership.

The aim of the long term programme "Peace Bag for EuroMed Youth" is to create a toolkit. This publication will include things you need to know about peace in your fingertips together with working tools, methods, good practices, samples of activities, training tips, basic information, do it yourself guide, experiences in the field, stories, references, experts, links - and all that in 12 languages!

What is a Peace Bag Toolkit?

A practical guide for youth organizations about different ways to incorporate peace and intercultural dimension in youth work. Dedicated to excisting organizations engaged in peace and intercultural dialogue by offering variety of training methods, background texts, activities and other tools, which will be taken from the different cultural realities and contexts of the partners involved.

Dedicated to youth organizations involved in fields of action that are not directly related to peace and intercultural education by helping them understand the holistic peace framework, how it is related to their specific advocacies, and how they can successfully carry it out by providing different approaches and strategies on how these themes can be included in their existing works.
