The General Director of Community Action, Xavier Garriga, presented the proposal of organization of the 2nd European Congress of the Volunteering from Catalonia within the framework of the activities of the program for the celebration of the European Year of the Volunteering. According to Xavier Garriga, the Congress replies to the goals of the European Board, that it wants to foster the exchange of experiences and good practices among the different social agents -governments, the entities -NGOs- and the companies with social action- fostering an active citizenship.
