20 Catalan productions in the Biennial of Annecy (France)

The Biennale de Cinéma Espagnol d'Annecy, which is celebrated this year of the 13th in the 23rd March, is a competitive festival centered on the Spanish recent production, which programs the most relevant titles of the last two years. The presence of Catalan cinema in the fourteen editions of this biennial exhibition has been a constant. This year 20 Catalan productions are presented.

 

The program of this year of the Biennale de Cinéma Espagnol d'Annecy is an extense range of every class of examples of the Catalan productions: from the mainstream cinema of REC and REC 2, directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza (Filmax), passing for the documentary, with "Garbo, the man who saved the world", of Edmon Roch (Ikiru Films) and the fiction of "Three days with the family of Mar Coll" (Escándalo Films), doubly rewarded these last productions with the prizes Gaudí and Goya.

 

Catalan Films & TV and the Catalan Institute Ramon Llull usually collaborate with this contest.
