EURECA digital library, a new search engine

EURECA is the name of the new Internet search engine launched by the Culture and Media department of the Catalan Generalitat to access ressources digitalized by Catalan institutions.

EURECA! functions in a similar way than as the digital library Europeana. With this new search engine access to documents that were previously scaterred in different servers of the Institutions is made easier.

Eureca! allows the search of any digital docuement such as books, pictures, maps, posters, ect provided the basic identification information has been registered (for instance title, author, subject matter). There are currently more than 170.000 digiltal ressources available.
